Ok, so when I went to the Secretary of State to get my Drivers 1 Permit (After I completed segment 1) I filled out the form, and my friend wanted to see the form, and as a joke she put brown eyes instead of hazel. And so I didn't realize that until I went to go and fill out the form for my drivers license. Because I am now 16 years old. My eyes change color, from blue to green, and to hazel. This restriction is placed on the driver license of a person who meets the minimum levels of acceptable vision set forth in NAC 483.340 only with the aid of a telescopic device. 2 I Hearing Aids This restriction may be placed on the driver's license of a person who wears a hearing aid.


Once you have received your Commercial Driver License (CDL), you may add endorsements and upgrade your license class. You may also downgrade your CDL at any time if you would like to drop to a lower class or remove an endorsement. Most commercial drivers will need to obtain at least one endorsement.

Applicants driving buses other than school buses for the Department of Education:

  • Are required to have a state criminal background check.
  • Must supply a CDL holder Self-Certification document along with a Medical Examiner's Certificate completed by a federally certified medical examiner.
